Hamilton Public Library generates $5.59 in value, for every $1 invested

In February 2018, Hamilton Public Library released “Discover HPL: Measuring the Impact of Hamilton Public Library“.  Based on data from 2016, key findings include:

• ROI: for every $1 invested in Hamilton PL, citizens receive $5.59 in economic benefits; that translates to
  • $1,022 per active cardholder
  • $301 per citizen
  • $765 per household
• Hamilton PL generated a total economic benefit of $161,855,691 in 2016
